A SERIES OF REGIONAL EVENTS FOR GROWERS WHO RELY ON IMMIGRANT WORKERS

In February 2013, ImmigrationWorks sponsored a half-day conference in Fresno, California on designing a better agricultural temporary worker program. The conference was the third in a series held over the past year in agricultural communities across the United States. Participants included local growers, farm labor contractors, state agricultural officials and state legislative staff, who discussed the need for a streamlined, workable federal program to provide the labor force farmers need to keep their businesses open and contributing to the economy.
