Business leaders meet with White House officials

Business and association executives met with White House chief of staff Denis McDonough to discuss immigration. National Association of Manufacturers senior vice president for policy and government relations Aric Newhouse and Chamber of Commerce executive vice president for government affairs Bruce Josten attended the meeting. American Hotel and Lodging Association writes letter to members

The American Hotel and Lodging Association sent a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) and ranking member John Conyers (D-MI) pressing for legislative action on immigration. The letter called for improvements to the H-2B temporary worker program and an efficient E-Verify system.
